Mod Stripes Crochet Blanket – Free Pattern

Mod Stripes Crochet Blanket - free crochet pattern

I just finished up a new crochet blanket and am so excited to share this pattern with you! I am calling it the Mod Stripes Crochet Blanket and it is one of my favorite. The blanket is worked in rows, but you will begin in the center of the blanket and work outwards in concentric squares by turning the blanket 90 degrees with each color change. It may sound difficult, but I promise you it is not!

I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn for this project, but any #4 worsted weight yarn will do. This crochet blanket pattern makes either a baby sized blanket (30″ x 35″) or a throw sized blanket (46″ x 53″). The blanket pictured is the throw size. (If you are wondering about the matching pillow shown in the photo above, I will post the pattern soon😀)

I hope you have as much fun making this blanket as I did!
