Dandelion Crochet Sunglasses Pouch

If you are interested in making an adorable holder for your sunglasses, then I have just the thing for you – the Dandelion Crochet Sunglasses Pouch! This crochet sunglasses pouch has the look of knit, combined with the beauty of tapestry crochet.

Because it is made with a double strand of super bulky yarn, this crochet sunglasses pouch is just the right thickness to cushion your glasses nicely. And did I mention it works up really quickly? I made three of them in just one afternoon! This pattern is also great for stash busting since it does not require much yarn.

To achieve the look of knit in this pattern, the center single crochet stitch (aka waistcoat stitch or knit stitch) is used. Although it may seem intimidating at first, the key to mastering this stitch is to crochet very loosely and use a larger sized hook than what your yarn calls for.  I hope you enjoy making one (or three) of your very own!
